While it does still have a glass back, the metal sides of the Z3 are missing here, replaced instead by a plastic frame. That does at least help keep it light, though, and as with all recent Xperia 'Z' phones it's waterproof and dustproof to IP65 and IP68 standards.

Similar to the other members of the Z3 range, the Tablet Compact has a deliberate, square profile, softened only by slight rounding of its corners and sides. The direction of the two silver Sony logos on either side of the tablet suggests it's meant to be used in portrait orientation. Previous Z-series slates - excluding the curious "tablet edition" of the Xperia Z Ultra - have sported an almost symmetrical, picture-frame style of display bezel.

Also, the Z3 Tablet Compact is fully waterproof, after all, so it's not like Sony's thrown this together using spare parts and a roll of duct tape. Having had the pleasure of reviewing the excellent Xperia Z3 Compact , I had a hunch the Tablet Compact would be a different animal once a set of headphones was plugged sony xperia z3 compact docomo in; and I wasn't wrong. The Z3 Tablet Compact might look starkly different compared to last year's 10.1-inch Z2 Tablet , but hardly anything has changed when it comes to the key specs. Whether you're swiping furiously through the home screen or app drawer panels, or taking care of the basics like checking email and browsing the web, the Tablet Compact never misses a beat. Battery life is easily one of the standout features of both the Xperia Z3 and its miniature counterpart. Right now, you can pick up a 16GB WiFi-only Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact in the US for $479 on Amazon, or £300 through Amazon's or Sony's online UK stores.

The Z3 Tablet Compact is in a completely different league, of course, especially when it comes to computing power, but then it depends on what you're going to do with your slate. At the higher end of the spectrum, there haven't been too xem chi tiet many notable releases since the Xperia Z2 Tablet was launched in early 2014. If you haven't noticed the theme here, let me spell it out for you: The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is at least $80 more expensive than its closest competitors.

While I've been using the Z3 Tablet Compact, I've grown to adore how... Compliant it is. For me, its kích cỡ and weight are the most impactful features, but therein lies the problem. This frame, which was shot on the same day, demonstrates how the LG G3 and the Xperia Z3 sometimes have a different say regarding color reproduction and white balance. Colors are also more accurate in images from the G3, while the Z3 has produced colder, more lifeless colors. On the other hand, the G3 had its exposure time set at 1/18, while the Z3 took the shot in 1/50 of a second. On the other hand, the Z3 exposed the image a bit more to gain more details in the shadowy areas. Don't mind the difference in aspect ratio - we accidentally left the Z3 in 16:9 mode instead of using 4:3. The Z3 could not capture colors as accurately, and its image appears a bit unnatural as a result.

Having this in mind, that our readers chose it over the Z3 in our blind camera comparison does not come as a surprise. Still, we have to highlight one advantage the Xperia Z3 had over the G3 - its wider field of view. Sony is a big company with a huge amount of knowledge accumulated over time and big potentials. Sony seems to have an issue with brighter scenes while the LG had issues with darker scenes. LG would best Sony on a Sunny day while the Sony would have the edge on a Cloudy one. Its been known for the last two years that sony cant make a great camera in their phones when compared to competition.
